Hopeless search mechanism
I haven't yet booked through TUI villas, but even the search mechanism is hopeless. The criteria is limited so you can't put in a price range so have to trawl through villas costing anything up to 50k per week. You put in the dates but then find that all the options bear no relation to that criteria in that most of the options were unavailable on the dates I had put in. Needs sorting massively, one of the most hopeless websites around.
Legal threats
In the terms and conditions it is stated that "the traveller has the right to prove that fewer damages have been incurred." On 9/8/22 we recieved a booking request confirmation. On 12/8/22 we cancelled our request before the amount for deposit was even required meaning that only 3 days of "damages" should be applied at most. We haven't even paid a deposit and they are trying to charge us 669euros for canceling. Now they are threatening legal action. Tried to contact customer services, couldn't get through and there is no UK number. Multiple emails sent but they just respond with a generic email and say "it's not negotiable". I've never wrote a trust pilot review before but I've never seen such a scam.

I regret booking through Tuivillas
I regret booking through Tuivillas. I strongly suggest you work out who the direct agent for the property is and just book direct. Tuivillas is a front for Atraveo which in turn is basically a portal to property booking that is available on much better sites such as Booking.com. I found this out as communication so poor through Tuivillas/Atraveo that I communicated with the property via Booking.com to get answers. I spent alot of time worrying my booking was actually fake due to such poor communication from Tuivillas/Atraveo. No property information arrived until I just went to direct to the actual renter 4 days before my holiday and got direct confirmations. I will not use this again and it is really damaging for the Tui brand

Suddenly, no house for us, after paying
I booked a house in Algarve, along with a group of 12 friends, received all the papers confirming it, payed, and called Dreamalgarve (the only number provided in the travel documents), who told me they no longer booked the house and had nothing to do with this problem and that there must have been an error with the reservation because tuivillas couldn"t book the whole house, but only room by room. Also the house was already occupied by other people when we arrived. I tried calling tuivillas (German number) and wasn't able to speak with anyone. I find this very disrespectful and unprofessional, as we all arrived in Algarve and suddenly had nowhere to stay. Moreover we had already payed and no-one helped us solve this problem. Luckily, we managed to find another place to stay (for a higher price). Tui villas gave us a refund of what we had payed in first place, but still it was quite a unpleasant experience.
Said we needed to pay 125 euros each…
Said we needed to pay 125 euros each for breakage before we get there because we are a group of 'youngsters'. Disgusting, discrimination and disrespectful. Won't be staying here.
Feels like a scam
Feels like a scam. I tried to book a villa, but received no confirmation email. I rang the number to see what happened and the service was painful. After much duress, I eventually spoke to someone who spoke English and they were very definite that I had no booking and also were extremely rude and unhelpful. Around a week later I got an email requesting an unpaid deposit providing me details to of a foreign bank account. I responded with my concern and asked for a phone call of reassurance. I got an email saying everything is okay for me to pay, but no reassurance and still no confirmation. It really felt like a scam. I then got an email saying they were cancelling my booking and I still owed the deposit. It feels like that was the plan all along. It must be a scam!
Appalling service
Appalling service. After a very unenjoyable stay in a TUI villa I reached out to the customer service team via email expressing our feelings after our stay. I provided photographic evidence and requested a response to discuss the issues. I have revived zero correspondence back, leaving a sour taste in our mouths.
We certainly won’t be booking through TUI villas again and would recommend looking elsewhere as there is no customer service atall.
TOTAL SCAM - register 3rd party properties with no follow up
TOTAL SCAM - DO NOT BOOK THERE
This website registers properties from 3rd party website, it takes the booking without clearly stating, then, asks for your credit card details, and does not seriously follow up with the owner or your reservation.
It is totally unacceptable and really not serious Customer Support. Fortunately, I asked about the status of my order 2.5 days ago. Now, we are 24 hours prior to my initial booking. They wasted my time, and I have the same problem 2.5 days after.
Their way of doing business is really like a bunch of amateurs.

Do not book with this company
Do not book with this company. We booked a villa to Orlando back in 2019 for travel in 2020 and when the pandemic hit, we moved it to 2021. 4 weeks ago we paid the balance as the flights were still happening. 2 weeks before we were due to fly, tui uk cancelled the flights as the US are still not allowing travellers into the country. We are getting a full refund from tui uk but Tui villas will only give us 10% back! They keep saying we have cancelled, which is incorrect. The contract is frustrated not cancelled. Disgusting customer services. DO NOT USE THEM. We booked with them as we thought they were reputable, but clearly not.
Tui clearly don't care about their brand
It is astounding to me that Tui value their brand so poorly that they would license it to this bunch of cowboys. "Booking" with Tui Villas means nothing. Properties shown as available on their site are not really. And there is no way to tell if they really are until you commit funds. I wasted hours researching properties unnecessarily and then lost days when I could have been booking somewhere else because it took that long for them to let me know.

Ridicoulos "Service"
Ridicoulos "Service".
You cannot check Dates - although it appears like - and when you send a request (because you cannot book anything!) it is "binding", but you do not get an answer - even in the high season, where all answers should be immediate.
Homepage in English, but suddenly communication appears to be all German. We take no responsibility for the Terms & Conditions listed in German.
Avoid TUI at all cost.
Awful company!
I started emailing and calling TUI Villas months ago. I have received automatic responses which have not dealt with the issues, and no responses at all by telephone. I now find out that they are not taking telephone calls! This organisation is outrageously awful, and I would never consider using any TUI named company.

BAD Service
To book a house we arrive at TUI Villas via Kras ( all in Dutch).
That is strange because Kras apparently has nothing to say about this after a phone call? The link name begins with Kras!!
When you book something you end up in a merry-go-round of daily 'reminders' and contacts to pay to Belvilla immediately after booking. And that is another partner of Atraveo. And a club called Wolters is somewhere in between too! Where is suddenly TUI villas ???
If you want to pay, you are suddenly from a Dutch to an English site!
Then all the alarm bells rang. Mails to Belvilla are not answered. A telephone to TUI villas (number via Kras !!): we got an unintelligible foreign lady on the phone.
Can it get any crazier?
DO NOT SO.
Worst experience possible
Worst experience possible. They're unreachable when trying to cancel the trip, and after weeks of mailing and trying to call, they simply charge you with a whopping 25% + 39Eur cancellation fee. TUI Villas is a very opaque organisation which tricks you via various sub-agencies into renting a sub-standard villa. Don't book via TUI Villas. Just don't.

A company run by crooks! Utterly Vile people!
Yet another repeat of so many people.. This company is crooked and vile. If only Covid could strike and wipe out the management of companies like this.
TuiVillas was happy to advertise a villa which we booked and then make it impossible to cancel and hide behind an international web of group companies saying that the villa was now not part of their operation..
Honestly I cannot believe that this practise and business operation is allowed in the UK... Why dont these people get locked up.. keep my money.. I hope your new wealth causes you nothing but ill fortune..
